Betty “Carolyn” Haire of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away at her home at Miller County Nursing Home on Sunday, October 29, 2017.
The funeral service will be held at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 with her son Rusty Haire giving the eulogy.

Mrs. Haire was born December 25, 1939 to Walter and Mavis Lansford. She was a wife and mother raising five children. She served as head dietitian at Cairo Hospital for many years. She enjoyed gospel singing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always the life of the party wherever she went. Mrs. Haire never met a stranger.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Tommy Lansford and his wife Peggy of Spartanburg, SC; her children, Rusty and his wife Angelina Haire of Baker FL., Joey and his wife Peresia Haire of Bainbridge, Greg and his wife Peggie Haire of Bainbridge, Ginger Inlow of Bainbridge, and Sissy French of Bainbridge. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Sabrina Cannon, Amber McLane, Brittany Branch, Heather Haire, Nikki Haire, Jenny Dixon, Keith Haire, Ashley Haire, Brandy Easters, Eric Inlow, Tyler Inlow, and Ty French. And 14 great grandchildren. Two special sister in laws Mildred Haire and Betty Jo Groah.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Miller County Nursing Home for being so wonderful to ” Miss Betty” and the entire family.
