Andrew “Pee Wee” Cook

October 3, 1960 – April 17, 2024

Andrew Kenneth “PeeWee” Cook, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mr. Cook will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00.

Andrew Cook was born in Bainbridge on October 3, 1960, to Tony and Corine Ritter Cook, who preceded him in death. Pee Wee loved fishing and reading the Bible. He was a Christian and loved to share that with others. He was a sandblaster and painter by trade. He loved his family dearly, especially the grandchildren. He enjoyed being with his friends at Memorial Manor, especially his best buddy, Mr. Homer. Andrew Cook will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Andrew Kenneth “Pee Wee” Cook is survived by his daughter, Tracy Cook Weeks (Jeremy) of Donalsonville, Georgia, step-children, Veronica Owens Griffin, and Jonathan Owens both of Bainbridge, along with his many grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his siblings, Bessie Owens of Havana, Florida, Phyllis Williams of Bainbridge, Gerald Cook (Connie) of Havana, and Tony Cook (Sadie) of Tallahassee, Florida.

He was predeceased by his parents as well as his siblings, Carolyn Suggs, Murlene Whitten, Jeanette Cook, Mary Mitchell, Ted Cook, Perry Cook, Carlton Cook, and Gloria Cook.

The family thanks the staff of Memorial Manor for the love and attention shown PeeWee and the family while he resided there. Also, a special thanks to the staff of Georgia Hospice Care for their care and kindness.

  1. Praying for all the family and friends. I think Pee-Wee was an humble man. I am so sorry that his health declined earlier in life. He took what God gave him and made the best of his circumstances. He loved.
