Judy Mock Brinson, 76, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Judy Katherine Mock was born October 11, 1947, in Colquitt, GA, the daughter of Cecil & Bernice Smith Mock. She was a graduate of Miller County High School. She married David Brinson, and they made their home in Bainbridge. Judy retired as Assistant Manager for Goody’s. She was Baptist by faith.
After retiring, Judy lived a much simpler life. She enjoyed playing games, sewing, and reading. Years working in the public gave her a new appreciation for the quietness of home. Her family always came first. She loved to brag about the grandchildren and their latest & greatest. Her face would light up at the mere sound of their names.
Survivors include her children, Twyla Brinson Darley and her husband, William, of Mitchell County and David Scott Brinson and his wife, Jeanie, of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Will, Hannah, Keyleigh & Kendall, and Kace; her great-grandchildren, Raylee & Greyson; and a host of extended family. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, David Alan Brinson, and her brother, Cecil Eugene Mock.
