Modesta Marina Pascual Zamora, age 57, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
The visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Panteon Municipal Santa Maria, Santa Maria Teposlantongo, Oaxaca at a later date. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.
Modesta was born July 20, 1966 in Oaxaca, Mexico, the daughter of Mariano Pascual Sanchez and Manuela Samora. She loved her family and was a hard worker. She was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She loved taking care of everyone, especially her nieces and nephews.
Modesta was kind hearted and a great person to know and love. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include siblings, Josefina Hernandez (Salvador), Marcelina Pascual, and Fidel Pascual; nieces and nephews, Diana Hernandez (John Daniels), Miguel Hernandez, Clara Hernandez, Landon Hernandez, and Briella Hernandez; and numerous cousins.
Modesta was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Margarito Hernandez; sister-in-law, Rosa Velasco; and her nephew, Cresencio Pascual Hernandez.
The Pascual Zamora family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
