Albert Timothy Cato, age 75, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023.

Tim was born March 5, 1948 in Bainbridge, Georgia, the son of John Ebb Cato and Edna Stegall Cato. A graduate of Bainbridge High School, Tim was a successful salesman who worked in the Bainbridge area selling insurance, homes, and cars. His success was largely due to his outgoing personality and great sense of humor which allowed him to make friends easily in the hometown that he loved so much. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his sons, Adam Cato (Kelsie) of Raleigh, NC, John Cato (Valerie), of Augusta, GA, and Chris Cato (Amy) of Grovetown, GA; grandchildren, Isabella Cato, Perry Cato, Patton Cato, Emma Cato, and Anna Cato; brother, Judge A. Wallace Cato (Sadie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Dennis Cato and Jetta Connor.
The Cato family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
