Leonard McMillan, age 79, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Harrell and Gary Brown officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Gunnar Brown, Boulder Brown, Logan Davis, Christian Novak, Brock Godwin, and Dustin Godwin will serve as active pallbearers. Leonard was born September 6th, 1944 in Donalsonville, GA, the son of Charlie B McMillan and Mazie Robinson McMillan. Leonard worked in construction and construction contracting all of his life. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Leonard was a humble, quiet, God fearing man.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Tomlinson McMillan of Bainbridge, GA; his children, David McMillan (Mickey) of Florida, Chris McMillan (Tammy) of Bainbridge, GA, Cory McMillan (Kristen) of Swainsboro, GA, Dewayne Brown (Sharon) of Bainbridge, GA, Del Brown (Joy) of Swainsboro, GA; his daughters, Turtia Novak (Steve) of Bainbridge, GA and Debra Phillips of Donalsonville, GA; his brother, Bryan McMillan of Donalsonville, GA; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Hayes McMillan and Carl McMillan; and his sisters, Juanita McMillan McKellar and Vera McAnally.
