Rosa Burke Donalson, age 88, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, August 12th, 2023.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lynn Massey officiating. A private interment will be held at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

Rosa was born July 31st, 1935 in Donalsonville, GA the daughter of Ed Burke and Ellen Hatton Burke. She was a graduate of Seminole County High School, Class of 1953. Rosa was a bookkeeper and worked many years for Mr. Ruben Reynolds, Bainbridge Auto Parts, and Brooks Auto Parts. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Lesa Rhodes (Robert), of Thomasville, GA and Ellen Lay of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Robin Stamps, Brandon Rhodes, and Wesley Lay; her great-grandchildren, Chelsie Stamps, Mary Stamps, Madelyn Lay, and Lincoln Rhodes; She was preceded in death by her husband, Jettie Donalson; her sisters, Clara Johnson, Mary Ellen Thursby, and Ada Mae Conyers; her parents, Ed and Ellen Hatton Burke; and her brother, Ed Burke.
The Donalson family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
