Mack Albert Hall was born July 18, 1940, in Whigham, GA, the son of Thomas and Sibyl Moore Hall. He married the love of his life, Joyce Brock, in June of 1958. Mack worked as a carpenter and was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church.

Mack worked all the time and fully expected his last minute on Earth would be spent working. His yard was immaculately kept, and his garden reflected the same perfection. He raised chickens and quail, sharing them cleaned & “ready to cook” along with the bounty from his garden. Mack lived by the golden rule, loved his people unconditionally, and enjoyed spending every moment he could with his family. Making people laugh with his “clowning” came naturally.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Joyce Brock Hall; his children, Robin Hall Jones (Barry) of Quincy, FL, Winford Wade Hall of Calvary, GA, Judy Hall White (Otha) of Greensboro, FL, and Vanessa Hall Schalk (Ken) of New Port Richey, FL; his son-in-law, Timmy Sorrow; his grandchildren, Brian & Samantha, Archie & Casey, Casey & Damon, Matthew & Lacey, Michael & Nancy, Dewayne & Tiffany, Skyler & Emily, Justin, and Lindsey & Derek; his great-grandchildren, Brian, Christopher, Hunter, Elliana, Macaleigh, Zoey, Alex, Haylee, Olan, Lauren, Logan, Aubree, Addy, Sage, Zoey, Elijah, Caleb, Rylee, Kynlee, Laynee, Hunter, Malin, and Briar; his sister, Julia Bell Hall Walling of Byron, GA; and a large extended family. In addition to his parents, Mack was preceded in death by his daughter, Velvet Merlene Hall Sorrow, and his brothers, Ersel Curtis Hall and Glover Ivan Hall.
