Ella Coleen Chapman (Pippins), age 44, of Baconton, GA, passed away Monday August 14, 2023, in Albany GA.
Ella was born May 3, 1979, in Vicksburg, MS to James Robert Meredith and the late Sammie Lane Johnston Meredith.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Lane Meredith, her mother, Sammie Lane Johnston Meredith, her stepsister, Pamela Bailey Chason and her grandparents.
Ella was a free-spirited woman who loved her mate for life, Derrick Eugene Pippins Sr., her four children, Breana Morgan Meredith, Cassandra Delores Pippins, Derrick Eugene Pippins Jr., and Dakota Warren Pippins, and her grandchildren, Serah Cassondra Beliawsky, Trinity Adair Katerina Lamb, Dakota Warren Pippins Jr., Jasper Cole Pippins, and Yvonne Shay Barnby with her whole heart.
She was survived by her life partner, Derrick, their children and their grandchildren, and her father and stepmother, James Robert and Betty Jo Meredith. She was also survived by her large, obstreperous family of siblings, James William Meredith, Tammy Sue Calahan Godsey, Angela Marie Waters Ahrns, Charline Meredith Kimbrel, Robert Wayne Meredith, Arnold Elwood Bailey, Deborah Dawn Meredith Brock, Faith Meredith VanHorn, Kenneth Wayne Meredith, Izella Kathrine Meredith Ley, Walter Franklin Meredith, John Wyatt Meredith, Diana Lynn Meredith Glezman, Krista Bailey Huckeba and many many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Before her passing, Ella chose cremation with no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed by calling Cox Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to celebrate her life and memory individually.
