Stephen Glenn “Steve” Blair, 62, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matthew Stone officiating. A private interment will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Wayne Haire, Tommy Haire, Ricky Gibson, O’Neal Davis, Shannon Barber, Randy Blair, Stephen Miller, Aaron Belle, and Jimmy Boyett serving as active pallbearers.

Stephen Glenn Blair was born August 27, 1960, in Douglasville, GA, the son of Leon & Mary Frances Cox Blair. After high school, Steve proudly served in the Army National Guard. He worked at Cherokee Equipment and was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA.
Steve was an all around “good guy” making sure those he cared for had whatever they needed. He was known as the family comedian never caught without a good joke to tell or a prank to pull. Steve was an expert craftsman and mason, mastering almost anything that involved working with your hands. He enjoyed fishing and made sure to schedule a trip or two when he wasn’t working.
Survivors include his daughter, Misty Lynn Heard of Rifle, CO; his grandchildren, Tanna, Tristan, Chance, and Memphis; his mother, Mary Blair of Bainbridge; and his siblings, Debra Hart (Aaron Bell) of Bainbridge, Paul Blair, also of Bainbridge, and Delores Haire (Scott) of Crawfordville, FL. Steve was preceded in death by his father and his brothers, Ricky Blair and Kenneth Blair.
