David S. Davis, 68, of Bainbridge, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Bostick officiating. A private interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Eddie Gordon, James Hurley, Timmy Ingle, Bryant Fagan, and Jessie Hurley serving as active pallbearers.

David Stanley Davis was born July 28, 1954, in Albany, GA, the son of Charlie Lee & Hazel Bentley Davis. He attended schools in Decatur County and worked for a time at Dollar Farm Products. David was faithful in attendance to Solid Rock Church.
Known as the family peacemaker, David told stories of days gone by to remind loved ones how precious family is. He loved his people at DFP and around town. Daily he walked to make his rounds checking in. David would sing his favorite Hank Williams and Elvis tunes and enjoyed fishing with his brother, Frank.
Survivors include his siblings, Frank Davis (Edith) of Wewahitchka, FL, Carolyn Ingle of Blakely, Brenda Gordon (Buddy) of Bainbridge, Deborah Hurley (Edwin) of Colquitt, and Elizabeth Clemmons (Adam) also of Bainbridge; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brothers, James Davis, Fred Davis, and Milton Davis.
