Lila Mae Morton, age 97, of Brinson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Cornerstone Pentecostal with Pastor Edward Seabrooks officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.

Lila was born August 28, 1925 in Danvers, Massachusetts, the daughter of Oliver Swezey and Louise Bean Swezey. She worked at General Electric in Gainesville, FL for many years prior to her retirement. She was also known for her love of crocheting, sewing, and solving crossword puzzles. She was a member of Cornerstone Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Iona Dunn and Cindy Crum; her son, Oliver Morton; grandchildren, Cindy Roddy (Roger), Andrew Danford (Angela), Scott Danford, and Issac Morton; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Lila was preceded in death by her parents.
