Richard A. McClelland, 67, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Richard Angus McClelland was born July 9, 1955, in Bartow, FL, the son of Aubrey & Jeane Thomas McClelland. He graduated from Pasco High School in Dade City, FL. Richard married Janet Bernier in 1984, and they made their home in Branden, FL. Five years ago, Richard & Janet moved to Bainbridge following his retirement as store manager for CVS. Richard was a member of Sutton Chapel United Methodist Church.
Watching sports, playing a round of golf, and dealing the cards for Poker or Canasta kept Richard busy. He listened to what he deemed “good music” and wasn’t shy about letting you know Eagles were his favorite. Making memories with family, especially on beach trips, were considered precious moments that left a smile in his heart.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Janet Bernier McClelland; his children, Jini McClelland (Dan) of Orlando, FL, Rick McClelland and Brittany McClelland both of Bainbridge; his siblings, Leigh Killeen (Courtney) of Lakeland, FL and Scott McClelland (Marie) of Tampa, FL; his nieces & nephews, Sean, Jennifer, Trey, and Alex; and a host of extended family. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
