Huey Augusta Powell, age 87, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022.
The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ivey Funeral Home.

Huey was born August 26, 1935 in Newton, Georgia the son of D.W. Powell and Rossie Maude Phillips Rentz. He was a lifelong resident of Bainbridge.
Survivors include children, Teresa (Steve) Hufstetler, Kathy (Lynn) Lasseter, and Michael (Cindy) Powell; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Anne (Bernard) Goodson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Huey was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Laverne, Robert Lee, and Hubert.
