Dustin Wells “Dusty” Cannon, 41, of Colquitt, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Bethany Baptist Church with Pastor Dee Humphrey officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Brian Dunlap, Andru Matthews, Ashton Matthews, Aiden Matthews, Casey Davis, Bryson McLendon, and Eddie Cook serving as active pallbearers. Staff and friends at Bridges of Hope will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Dustin Wells Cannon was born March 27, 1981 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Gordon Wells “Hank” Cannon and Fay Dunlap Cannon. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and worked with G&M Electric as an electrician. Dustin was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Dusty worked hard and played hard. He enjoyed the outdoors and did a little fishing and hunting when he could. Work consumed most of his time, but family and friends were always priority. Every day was a new day for Dusty, and he met the challenges of the day head on.
Survivors include his parents, Fay & Tommy Daniels and Gordon W. “Hank” Cannon; his siblings, Melissa Cannon of Valdosta, Victoria Cannon Johnson of Brinson, and Matthew Cannon of Brinson; his grandmother, Sarah Helen Dunlap; and a host of extended family. Dusty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dover Dunlap and Jack & Gladys Cannon.
