Patty Ann Eakin, age 60, passed away Sunday, October 9, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia surrounded by her family. A service to honor her life will be held Saturday, 10:00 am, October 15, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home.
Patty Ann Eakin was born July 17, 1962, in Live Oak, Florida. Her parents, Leonard Lamar Eakin and Dorothy Jane Boyd Eakin have preceded her in death. Patty was a people person. She never met a stranger. She had a caring heart and loved her job as a medical caregiver. She loved working with the residents of Bowerland Personal Care Home and Town House Personal Care Home. She was a loving and caring mother, devoted to her family. Patty loved her family, and her grandchildren and great-grandchild were her heart. Patty Eakin will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
Patty Ann Eakin is survived by her daughters, Robin Phillips, Nancy Phillips (Michael Sorrow) and Carry Parish (Jacob) all of Bainbridge; siblings, Chris Eakin, David Eakin, Carol Henry, and Bonnie Lane (Tony); grandchildren, Alania Smith, Shawn Jones, Katelyn Cook, Amber Taylor, Bailey Taylor, Zoey Sorrow, Caleb Sorrow, Elijah Sorrow, Lexi Cutchin, Noah Cutchin, Greyson Griffin; great-grandchildren, Kayden Hargis, Wyatt Green, and Izzy Griffin; nephew, Chris Lane; niece, Shelly White; numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and special friend, Robby Luther. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Cynthia White.
