James Bruce Cobb, 64, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022.

James Bruce Cobb was born November 26, 1957, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Dan & Dorothy Lewis Cobb. He married Ellen Gunn, and they made Bainbridge their home. James was a carpenter by trade and a Christian by faith.

Nicknamed “Mr. Fix-It”, James was that friend always willing to work on something. He was a humble man with a kind soul. James loved his family, which included his dogs, and enjoyed every family gathering no matter the occasion. Visiting with friends allowed him to reminisce about the good ol’ days and tell stories that were sure to cause a chuckle.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Gunn Cobb; his children, Crystal Cobb of Jacksonville, Daniel Cobb of Atlanta, and Renee & Harry Trawick of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Tommy, Laci, and Ted; his great-grandchildren, Kailyn, Kayden, and Kashton; and his siblings, Charles Cobb, Roger Everett, and Patricia Cobb. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his siblings, Billy Cobb and Linda Tratman.
