Jerry Lee Prescott

Jerry Lee Prescott, 75, of Lake Seminole, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Jerry Lee Prescott was born July 29, 1947, in DeFuniak Springs, FL. He lived in Hartford, AL until twenty or so years ago when he moved to “The Lake”. He proudly served his country in the United States Army completing two tours in Vietnam. Jerry Lee was Christian by faith.

Jerry Lee loved to tinker and hang out with friends. Jerry, one of his closest friends, could write a book based on their conversations over the years. While Vietnam took an immeasurable toll on Jerry Lee, he served with honor and was awarded three Purple Hearts.

Survivors include his children, Bobby Lee Prescott and his wife, April, of Lake Seminole, James Bradford Prescott also of Lake Seminole, and Misty Hurley of Ft. Walton Beach; his five grandchildren; and his siblings, Judy and Marti. In addition to his parents, Jerry Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Mae Ritter Prescott.

  1. I just found out last night that Big Jerry had went on to hopefully a better place than us. Man I can tell some really awesome times we had. Bobby Lee, Brad if you need me or just wanna talk pm me on messenger and we will go back and see some really good times. Prayers be with you.
