Jack Edward Jones

Mr. Jack Edward Jones passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at his home in Donalsonville, Georgia.  Services for Mr. Jones will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Evangelist Charles Smith will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Jack Edward Jones was born November 21, 1950, in Bainbridge, Georgia to James Williams Enoch Jones and Myrtice Pearl Bailey Jones.  Jack proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Jack loved to fish and very much enjoyed video games.  He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.  He deeply loved his family and loved spending time with them.  Jack loved to listen to old gospel music and vintage bluegrass. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Jack Edward Jones is survived by his sisters, Brenda Gilbert and Sue Myers of Bainbridge, Shirley Cook (Elton Cromer) of Lake Seminole, Georgia, and Virginia (Polly) Phillips of Orlando, Florida; his brother, Lee Jones of Bainbridge; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many great-nieces and great-nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles William Jones and Darrell Lenard Jones.

  2. I miss my Uncle Jack!! 😭💔😭💔 He loved him some coffee ☕️. We would watch television 📺 together and we would laugh and joke around. He was a good person. He was kind hearted. He is the strongest person I know. He truly endured the pain and I salute him for it. He has helped so many people in their time of need. I love my Uncle Jack dearly. ❤️ Rest In Heaven! Always in our hearts. 💕 You served in Vietnam and Not many people can say that. I am proud of you and I thank you for all of the things you have ever done for me.
