On Wednesday, April 14, 2022, at approximately 2243 hours, Sergeant William McClanahan responded to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to a subject wanting to meet with a deputy. Sgt. McClanahan met with the complainant Bryan Doss who wanted to report that the offender Travis Jackson pointed a gun at him earlier this night around 2230 hours.

On April 14, 2022, at approximately 1122 hours, Corporal Jordan Phillips was dispatched to give a subject a phone call, in reference to a Stolen Vehicle. On 04/14/2022, at approximately 1430 hours, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Steve Clark located the vehicle reported Stolen in this report, at Bobby Tire in Cairo, Georgia. The vehicle had been towed there, per insurance request by Royce’s Towing.

On Friday, April 15, 2022, at 0930, Deputy Garrett Wooten was on routine patrol in Decatur County, when he came upon Trooper Brian Palmer on a traffic Stop, on Highway 27 south, at MM15. Deputy Wooten observed Trooper Palmer speaking with the driver of a white/black Ford Crown Victoria. Deputy Wooten heard Trooper Palmer state that he smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and asked the driver to step out. Deputy Wooten observed the driver, later identified as Devonte Clark, exit the vehicle and begin to place his hands on the front of Trooper Palmer’s vehicle. Trooper Palmer then removed a black handgun from the front of his waistband. Clark later stated that he was a Convicted Felon. Clark was placed under arrest and transported to the Decatur County Jail.

On 04/15/2022, at approximately 1119 hours, Lt. Presilla was dispatched to a Rolling Domestic on Hwy 27 south, coming into Decatur County heading north. E-911 stated a husband and wife were arguing and had been physical, and husband would not let her out of the vehicle. It should be noted a baby was in the vehicle as well.

On Saturday, April 16, 2022, at approximately 0206 hours, Deputy Dustin Harvey was patrolling in the area of the 84 Bypass and Colquitt Highway. Deputy Harvey observed a vehicle weaving over the fog line and into the adjacent lane on the 84 Bypass. Maria was placed under arrest, for D.U.I and transported to the Decatur County Jail.

On Sunday, April 17, 2022, at approximately 0107 hours, Decatur County Deputies received a call via radio from E-911 concerning a Suspicious Vehicle. After running both subjects through E-911, it was advised that Jessie was Wanted out of Jackson County Florida for Assault. After Florida confirmed the warrant and agreed to extradition Jessie was placed under arrest and transported to Decatur County Jail.
