Mr. Robert Marvin (Bobby) Thomas, age 62, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at his home in Whigham, Georgia. A graveside memorial service will be held at Springhill Methodist Church. Time and date will be announced.
Bobby Thomas was born June 10, 1959, to Robert Eugene Thomas and Janice Salter Thomas. He graduated from Whigham High School, class of 1978. Bobby served for six years in the United States Army. In 2001 he married his dear wife, Margline Bodrey Thomas. Bobby was a member of Springhill Methodist Church. A truck driver, he worked many years driving for Tidewater Equipment Company. Bobby enjoyed being in the woods and loved to hunt and fish. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Robert Marvin (Bobby) Thomas is survived by his wife, Margline Bodrey Thomas of Whigham; parents, Robert Eugene Thomas and Janice Salter Thomas of Whigham; sons, Johnathan Thomas of Indian Land, South Carolina and Robbie Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia; grandson, Johnnie Thomas of Indian Land; sisters, Tammy Crawford (Elton) of Whigham and Lisa Burks (Randy) of Cairo, Georgia; nieces, Synclair Burks and Michaelia Crawford; nephews, Jordan Burks and Weston Crawford; and step-children, Dennis Bodrey of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Jeremy Benford of Ellaville, Georgia and Samantha Benford of Thomasville.
