On 12/01/2021, at approximately 0435 hours, Deputy Steve Clark was on his way to the Sheriff’s Office to begin his shift for the day. While driving through Climax on Highway 84 bypass Westbound Clark noticed a vehicle turning around by the storage units on Sykes Mill Road near the railroad tracks. Due to the time of day and the recent burglaries at that location Clark made a U-Turn and went back to investigate.

On November 30, 2021, at approximately 2:27 P.M., Sergeant Monteze McCall, Deputy Roderick Murphy, and Corporal Bradley Hanks were dispatched to 3598 Dothan Road, in reference to a Domestic. Upon arrival Cpl. Hanks spoke to the complainant, Theresa Coats, and the witness, Tiffany Fennell. Mrs. Coats stated that she was traveling eastbound from Seminole County with the witness, and the offender, Autumn Coats. Theresa Coats stated that she had just went past the Brinson Bridge when Autumn Coats said that she was going to get a gas can full of gas, and burn down her house.

Upon arrival, Dep. Lattimore spoke to (Capt.) Captain Brian Thompson at the Faceville Volunteer Fire Department, who essentially stated that several items were stolen from the fire department and engines.

On December 4, 2021, at approximately 2121 hours, Sergeant Edwin Harvey, Deputy Marvin Knight, and Deputy Vontrail Smith responded to 300 Jones Road, in reference to a Domestic that occurred earlier in the day. Upon arrival, Sgt Harvey made contact with Katelyn Strickland who stated that David Scott and her mother Angie Gray got into an argument before David took off on her mother’s motorcycle. Bainbridge Public Safety came across the radio and confirmed that David had warrants out of BPS.
