Martha Ann Phillips Reynolds, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021.

Martha Ann Phillips was born March 24, 1941, in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of Louie & Cora Bell Edison Phillips. She married James Warden “Jim” Reynolds and they made their home in Bainbridge in 1962. She worked as a bookkeeper at several local businesses, Freidman Jewelers, Sellers Oil, Keenan’s Auto Parts, Helig Meyers, and McKenzie Tank Lines. She was Baptist by faith.

Grandchildren seemed to have a way with Martha Ann. They recall many memories of fun, festive times knowing how much she enjoyed cooking and decorating for holidays. Junkin’ and garage sales were like a treasure chest and every find was the best yet.

Survivors include her children, Martha Eugenia “Jeanne” Benton, Kim Sadler Sellers (David), and Tracy Ann Reynolds, all of Bainbridge, and Trent Warden Reynolds; her eight grandchildren and her eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Martha Ann was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Joy Renee Phillips.
