On November 18, 2021, at approximately 1306 hours, Bainbridge Public Safety Sergeant LaDaric Jones located Kierra Burney at 1500 East Shotwell Street in Bainbridge, Georgia. Jones was familiar with and active warrant for Burney’s arrest.
Burney was taken into custody by Corporal Jason Barlow and transported to Bainbridge Public Safety Headquarters where he was booked and transferred to Decatur County Jail.

On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at approximately 1920 hours, Bainbridge Public Safety Sergeant Tarow Barney responded to the Bill Reynolds Sports Park located at 1100 Cox Avenue in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia, interference to a domestic.
Barney arrived on scene and made contact with the complainant, Brittany Wilson. Wilson stated her child’s father arrived at their son’s football practice in his green Ford Ranger. Wilson stated Blank began to get irate with her. Wilson stated Blank stated he would find her at her residence. Wilson stated Blank left the scene before law enforcement showed up.
Barney attempted to locate the Ford Ranger, but was unable. This case is closed, due to documentation purposes. This incident was recorded on Barney’s Axon body camera.
