On Thursday, June 24, 2021, at approximately 1323 hours, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Charles King responded to Fowlstown Road, Mile Marker 9, Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. Deputy King was dispatched to the area for an Abandoned Vehicle. E-911 advised Deputy King the vehicle did not have insurance coverage. It appeared the vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, going into the ditch, crossing back over both lanes before nosing down in the ditch. The vehicle would be towed due to the fact it had been wrecked.

On Friday, June 25, 2021, at approximately 1506 hours, Crystal Hope Summerlin, the complainant in this case, came to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office and spoke to Sergeant Victor Strickland. Summerlin stated that she no longer wanted her ex-boyfriend, Brian Harold, to contact her in any way.

On Friday, 06-25-2021, at approximately 2201 hours, Deputy Hollis Smith responded to 608 Cedar Grove Rd., in reference to a Missing Juvenile. On Saturday 06-26-2021 at approximately 0011 hours, Deputy Vontrail Smith advised over the radio that the missing Juvenile was found walking back into her yard.

On Friday, June 25, 2021, at approximately 2131 hours, Deputy Vontrail Smith responded to 2117 Black Jack Rd., Bainbridge Ga., in reference to Harassment. Upon arrival, Deputy Smith spoke with complainant, Carry Griffin, who stated that her Ex-co-worker, Chassidy Holmes, has been harassing her.

On 06/27/2021, at approximately 0704 hours, Deputy Steve Clark responded to 2063 Colquitt Highway, in reference to a vehicle broke down on private property. Clark requested ID data on the subjects. Neither had a driver’s license according to them. The male in the driver’s seat identified himself as Manuel Gomez. He provided a passport which confirmed the info. It was determined through dispatch that Mr. Gomez had an arrest warrant out of Lowndes County, Georgia. Dispatch sent a Hit request which was later confirmed with a request for a hold to be placed on Mr. Gomez. Mr. Gomez was arrested without incident.
