Ella Rebecca Logue, 85, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.

A private funeral service will be held at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Donnie Parks officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

Ella Rebecca Hunt was born December 27, 1934 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Zim H. Hunt and Mary Louise Strickland Hunt. She attended Climax High School and lived all her of her life in the South Georgia/North Florida area. She was Baptist by faith.

Rebecca put Christ first in her life. She spent time daily reading the Bible and praying for others. Family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brought her unspeakable joy. Rebecca enjoyed baking, making candy, and crocheting. Family and friends can testify to her award-winning yeast rolls and fruit cakes. Her crocheted projects are well loved pieces of times past.

Survivors include her children, Sheila Ann Parks and her husband, Donnie, of Tallahassee, FL, Joy Lindley and her finance, Chuck Hersh, of Goose Creek, SC, and Chris Logue and his wife, Cindy, of Estes Park, CO; her grandchildren, Amy & Ben, Leigh, Holley & Dan, Molly, Zim & Katherine, Cody & Jessi, Hunter & Laura, Derrick & Cammy, and Molly; and her great-grandchildren, Marisa, Ella, Corbin, Kayd, Juliana, Addy, Emmy, and James. In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Logue; her son, Mitchell Raymond “Mitch” Logue; her sisters, Nadine Dennis and Mary Magdaline Johnson; and her grandson, William Lindley.
