The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Rev. Steve Poppell officiating. Doreen Mihlfeld was born July 6, 1946 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Clarence and Eunice Thomas Mihlfeld. Dodie worked as a nurse for 42 years retiring from Humboldt General Hospital in Winnemucca, NV. She married Thomas Pulliam on January 18, 1988 and they made their home in Wyoming and Nevada returning to Dodie’s beloved South Georgia in 2015. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church.
Dodie spent her life caring for others. Her patients were more like family and she treated them as such. She always had an idea or a remedy for whatever ailed you. Dodie enjoyed country music, traveling (especially cruising), down home cooking, painting, and helping her husband with his photography. She was a great example of GRITS—Girls Raised In The South.
