Sandra Parish Dollar, 72, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020.
A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Conrad Salter officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

Sandra Gail Parish was born July 27, 1948 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Rev. Bronzo and Nettie Avery Parish. She married Frankie Dollar in 1975 and they made their home in Bainbridge. Sandra worked as a pharmacy technician, retiring from CVS. She was Baptist by faith.
Sandra had a sweet spirit filled with love and compassion for others. Her customers knew her caring attitude and kindness were genuine, and she had their best interest at heart. Sandra had a fondness for animals and always wanted to take in the strays. She enjoyed music, especially singing. Sandra was an original member of The Parish Family.
Survivors include her husband of almost 45 years, Frankie Dollar; her children, Micki Lynn Baugher and Vicki Lynn Shavers and her husband, Jeff, all of Tennessee; her siblings, Ronnie Parish (Kesha), Mark Parish (Patsy Rentz), all of Bainbridge, and Debra Hogan of Nashville; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Travis, Kat, and Justin. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Parish; and her sister, Rhonda Parish Poitivent.
