On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at approximately 1347 hours, Deputy Vontrail Smith and Lieutenant Justin Bedwell responded to 546 Barwick Road, Brinson, Ga., in reference to a Burglary in progress. The owners Johnny Barwick and Stephanie Barwick arrived on scene around 1428. Johnny stated that nothing appeared to be missing at that time and that they would call if they noticed anything missing.

On Monday, July 20, 2020, at approximately 1030 hours, Deputy Aaron Austin responded to 115 Asphalt Plant Road, in reference to a Dispute. Deputy Austin stated to Selena that she was Trespassed from the property and to get the rest of the belongings she would have to go through the Magistrate Court.

On Thursday, June 25, 2020, at approximately 1130 hours, Investigator Adam Mobley received information that Thomas Charles Edmonson (AKA “TC”) was located at 190 Riverview Road. Edmonson had several Warrants including a Parole Violation. Investigator Adam Mobley, Inv. Vincent Edmond, and Inv. Justin Kelly then proceeded to that location. As investigators were pulling into the driveway, Edmondson took off running through the back yard, jumped a fence, and ran into the woods. Investigators followed suit, yelling for Edmondson to stop but Edmondson did not stop and continued looking back at Investigators as he ran.
On Thursday, July 16, 2020, Investigators tracked Edmondson to a residence on Holt Road, in Climax, Georgia. Investigators began conducting surveillance on that residence and on Friday, July 17, 2020, at approximately 0425 hours, Investigators along with multiple Deputies from the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office surrounded the house. As Deputies approached the house, Edmondson fled out the side door and Inv. Mobley later located Edmondson hiding under a tarp near the residence. Edmondson was arrested and transported to the Decatur County Jail.
