On Monday, July 13, 2020, during the morning hours, Lieutenant Justin Bedwell was conducting a review of the Registered Sex Offender Files, at the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. While conducting the review, Lt. Bedwell noted that Registered Sex Offender Antonio Allen had failed to complete his annual registration 72 hours prior to his birthday. At about 1200 hours, Allen met with Lt. Bedwell, in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office. Lt. Bedwell arrested Allen and escorted him to the Decatur County Jail without incident.
