On May 17, 2020, at approximately 1943 Hours, Decatur County Sergeant Austin Spence was sitting stationary in his patrol vehicle at the intersection of Vada Road and Adolph Brock Road, when he observed a blue in color sedan pass his location with what appeared to be dark window tint. Sgt. Spence fell in behind the vehicle, activating his blue lights and siren, conducting a traffic stop, just south of Adolph Brock on Vada Road.
James was transported to the jail and booked on the charges of Drugs not in the Original Container and Possession of a Schedule One Drug. Brown was transported to the jail and charged with Possession of a Schedule One Drug, Window Tint Violation, Driving on a Suspended License, and on a Probation Warrant.
