On Monday, March 30, 2020, at approximately 0853 hours, Deputy Aaron Austin responded to the area of Quincy Highway and Fowlstown Road, in reference to a person sleeping on the side of the road. Upon arrival, Deputy Austin spoke with a William Lee Jewett, Jr. William stated to Deputy Austin that he had just walked from Tallahassee, FL. William stated to Deputy Austin that he had a Warrant out of Henry County, Georgia, and was on his way there to take care of it, due to him wanting to get his license back. Deputy Austin then had E-911 run William’s information and he came back wanted out of Henry County GA. Deputy Austin then transported William to the County Jail without incident.

On March, 28, 2020, at approximately 11;05 P.M. Sergeant Charles King, Deputy Aaron Austin, and Deputy Bradley Hanks responded to 111 Ronnie Lambert Rd., in reference to a Fight in progress. Upon arrival Deputy Hanks spoke to Juan Balderas, who stated that earlier that day Midque’la Perkins was at Smith’s Landing with him and a few other people. Mr. Balderas stated that him and Mr. Perkins had gotten into an argument and that Mr. Perkins got into his vehicle and started doing donuts, causing rocks to hit his vehicle. All three individuals were arrested and transported to Decatur County Jail.
