Investigator Edmond was contacted by Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Chief Investigator Wendell Cofer and asked to investigate an incident of Terroristic Threats that had been made at 565 Lake Douglas Road Ext. in Climax, Georgia.

On March 14, 2020 at approximately 2135 hours, Deputy Jordan Phillips, Deputy Marvin Knight, Deputy Garrett Hanks, and Sergeant Charles King were dispatched to the address of 179 Dollar Drive, in reference to an intoxicated male with a gun. While responding, Dep. Knight advised that he heard gun shots in the area. Dep. Phillips observed the male walking near the intersection of Morgan Street and Dollar Drive. Dep. Phillips exited his patrol vehicle and ran towards the male subject to assist Sgt. King with taking the male into custody.
