Mrs. Essie Mae Starling, age 63, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Bainbridge Health Care and Rehab, Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mrs. Starling will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 2020, graveside in Oak City Cemetery. The Rev. David Grubbs will officiate.
Essie Mae Suggs was born July 21, 1956 to Andrew Suggs and Ezella Mason Suggs Hall. She was born and raised in Chipley, Florida. Before her illness, she enjoyed being on and around water. She liked boating or swimming. Essie was always busy. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading. Essie Starling will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Starling is survived by her children, James E. (Eddie) Trawick of Milledgeville, Georgia and Richard I. Trawick of Bainbridge; siblings, Jimmie Lee Suggs of Bainbridge, Jetty Mae Taylor of Milledgeville, and Shirley Pate of Chipley; and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Betty Mae Anderson, Don Suggs, Alfred Suggs, and Robert Suggs.
