Lemuele E. “Buddy” Glass, 66, of Bainbridge, GA, formerly of Colquitt, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. DeWitt Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Marcus Newberry, John Shivers, Marcus Newberry, Jr., Josh Clayton, Mitchell Rhodes and Jesse Mosely serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m., on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com. Lemuele Ernest Glass was born October 8, 1953 in Colquitt, GA, the son of Leroy and Willie Mae Gordon Glass. Buddy was a painter by trade and Pentecostal by faith. He married Dorcy Jean Norris in 2004 and they made their home in Bainbridge.
Buddy had a spirit of adventure that he passed along to his family. He enjoyed making memories doing simple things, like fishing, but was always on “ready” if something better came up. He spent his weekends cheering on his beloved football teams, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Dorcy Glass; his children, Faye Harrison of Donalsonville, GA, Travis Glass of Florida, Kimberly Glass of Atmore, AL, Kevin Key of Bainbridge, GA and Karla Mullis of Tallahassee, FL; his siblings, Betty Ann Bush of Colquitt, GA and Donna & Allen Jones of Donalsonville, GA; and his fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents.
So sorry you had to leave so soon but your in a better place ,you will be missed
