Office of the District Attorney for the South Georgia Circuit Press Release
On November 15, 2019, the Office of the District Attorney for the South Georgia Circuit helped host a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) training at the Kirbo Center in Bainbridge, Georgia. Nurses from North Carolina, Arizona, Tennessee, and Georgia attended the two-day session. District Attorney Joe Mulholland spoke on Courtroom Testimony and Preparation. Mulholland said “They were a great group of nurses from around the Country. SANE nurses are unsung heroes who do the job voluntarily. It is thankless work but vitally important for securing convictions of sexual offenders.” Mulholland hopes to have annual training for nurses in the area and around the Country.
