Bainbridge Public Safety Citizens Academy participants will be introduced to all aspects of the Bainbridge Public Safety Department, including fire, patrol, and investigations divisions in both classroom and hands-on settings.
The Academy consists of 4 sessions, and will meet on Thursday nights beginning on September 5th. Each session will be 2 hours in length, from 6pm until 8pm.
During the first week in October, participants who have attended all four sessions will be able to participate in a “Ride-along” with a uniformed patrol officer.
Graduation will take place on Thursday, October 3rd.
Class size is limited, and persons must be 21 years old or older to participate.
To register, stop by Public Safety Headquarters at 510 E. Louise Street between 8am and 5pm Monday – Friday.
