UPDATE – Anthony B. Cannon was captured by the Decatur County Sheriff’s Deputies around 2:30pm today (7/2/19) at a location on Dempsey Road in West Bainbridge. Charges are pending.
UPDATE 5:00PM – The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Anthony B. Cannon of Quincy, Florida. He is still at large. Around 3:30pm, a vehicle entered Decatur County headed north on Faceville Highway traveling in access of 100 miles per hour. He left the roadway several times, and hit multiple vehicles along the way, including several in Downtown Bainbridge. The black male driver then headed to Chason Park where he left the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers from DCSO and GSP are assisting in the search for the suspect.
