On Thursday, June 6th, 2019, at 1856 hours, Sergeant Garrett Wooten was located on the scene of a traffic stop which was conducted by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Reed Stark, at the Budget Inn. Stark relinquished custody of Davonda Peak, who had an Outstanding Probation Violation Warrant out of the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office.

On June 7, 2019, at approximately 2200 hours, Investigator Justin Kelly was located on Georgia Highway 97 South at mile marker 16, in reference to participating in a Sobriety Checkpoint. While at the location Inv. Kelly observed a white Chrysler Pacifica traveling South on Georgia Highway 97, stop and pull off the roadway approximately 300 ft. before the checkpoint. Walter was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended.
