Captain Ryan Wimberley taught an 8-hour “Basic TASER Certification Course” on Monday at Public Safety Headquarters. Officers learned deployment tactics, probe placement and removal, tactical reload, how to take control of a potentially dangerous situation, and how to give verbal and direct orders to a subject before deployment.
