Starting Monday, January 14, Misty Tice will be teaching Music Theatre classes for K-8th grade students.
With songs from popular Broadway shows including: Into the Woods, The Lion King, Oliver, Singin in the Rain, The Sound of Music and more.
K-3rd grade class will meet Monday afternoons from 3:45-4:30 PM. The focus on learning songs, choreography, stage presence and stage volume. These are the basic needs to grow into a great performer.
4th-8th grade class will meet Mondays from 4:15-5:15 PM. These students will have more responsibility for the show. The focus will be on stage presence and volume, as well as stage direction and communication. These students will be responsible for memorizing all songs, choreography and dialog assigned for their parts. Solo and group parts will be determibed by the end of January.
Registration fee of $15 and monthly tuition of $50 is due the first Monday of every class. Classes will be held at Grace Christian Academy. Class performances will be the weekend of May 25 and 26, 2019. General admission is $10 (cash only) and admission is free for children 12 and under.

This is a great opportunity for parents to help their little actors memorize lines and songs by practicing at home.
Encourage them to do their best, as no small part goes unnoticed.
