Ivey Funeral Home was established in 1950 when Ralph and Caroline Fain Ivey purchased the Player Funeral Home from Reid and Ruth Kirbo Player. In 1964, Ralph Ivey built a new facility and moved the business to 502 S. Scott St. Richard F. “Dick” Ivey assumed ownership in 1985, and in 2012 sold to Rollings Funeral Service. Ivey Funeral Home, driven by excellence and integrity of service, continues to be managed locally.
