Harvey Earl King, age 79, of Brinson, GA, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Brinson Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Crapps and Rev. Ellis Hardwick officiating. Interment will be at Brinson Cemetery.

Harvey was born August 6, 1942, in Donalsonville, Georgia the son of Brewster King and Lois Tedder King. He was a U. S. Army veteran and served two tours of duty in Viet Nam. He was a farmer and a lineman for the City of Brinson. He dedicated his life to serving the City of Brinson and the community he loved. He served on the Brinson City Council and several terms as mayor.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Hattie Austin King; his children, Susan, Rodney, Kathy, and Karen; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Roy and Nell. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents.
