Jonathan Lee Ralph

June 13, 1981 – August 5, 2025

Jonathan Lee Ralph, age 44, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jonathan was born June 13, 1981, in Lexington, Kentucky to Paul Eugene and Susan Martin Ralph. As a child, he was a source of many smiles and much laughter. In 1994, he moved to Bainbridge, Georgia, where he graduated from Bainbridge High School. In 2007, he earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business and in 2010 an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Bainbridge College. As an RN, he enjoyed working in emergency situations and gained vast knowledge from his various experiences. His last place of employment was at Riverchase Health & Rehabilitation Center in Quincy, Florida, where he loved the residents and his coworkers. He was a compassionate nurse and took the time to show he cared.

Nature was a favorite place for Jon, and he spent many happy hours with friends while fishing and bird hunting. He could hilariously entertain for hours with stories about friends Kevin, Rusty, and Kyle and so many of his other close friends and their adventures. He played soccer in high school until an injury sidelined his career. Two autoimmune diseases, Ankylosing Spondylitis and Lupus, curtailed his physical activity the last few years, and he dearly missed those previous adventures.

Jonathan Ralph is survived by his mother, Susan Ralph; brothers Matthew Bradley Ralph (Becky Boothe) and Alan Gregory Ralph (Meredith Mouney); his nephew Theodore Ralph and niece Eleanor Ralph; as well as his beloved cat Phoebe. He was preceded in death by his father.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jon’s memory to the Spondylitis Association of America, 16430 Ventura Blvd. Suite 300, Encino, CA 91436 or the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society, 808 Zorn Road, Bainbridge, Georgia 39817.

Online condolences may be sent at www.coxiveyfuneralhome.com. Cox-Ivey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
