Laura Leigh Smith was born December 7, 1991, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Bobby Allen Smith and Tonya Jeanine Weaver Sallas. Laura Leigh was so easy to get along with, a people person, very outgoing and friendly. She loved animals and children and had hoped to work as a child advocate. She so loved her family, especially Jesse and Jayden, and was a wonderful mother for her “Tunky”. Laura Leigh was happy to work in the Shiloh Community. She loved the people there, and they loved her. We are all heartbroken by her death, and Laura Leigh will be deeply missed.
Laura Leigh Smith Darley is survived by her husband, Jesse Doss Darley; son. Jayden Darley (Tunky); father, Bobby Allen Smith; brother, Jacob Smith; grandparents, Carolyn Gail and Bobby Joe Smith; stepfather, Todd Sallas; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tonya Sallas, maternal grandparents, Emerson B. and Jo-Ann Anderson Weaver and uncle, Ben Weaver.

I’m lost for word’s Leigha was a beautiful person and I don’t understand why it happened. I just say God needed a special person. I know you are up there looking down at all of us. Maybe you and Hannah are talking up a storm. You will be truly missed by your family and friends. I will see you one day. I’m sorry to all your family and I ask God to wrap his arms around your family.
