Mary Virginia (Ginny) Mullis, age 72, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, surrounded by her family in Tallahassee, Florida.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 2:00 p.m., in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Poitevint will officiate.
Mary Virginia Genovar was born January 24, 1952, in Hialeah, Florida, to Harry Lee Genovar and Hazel America Pope Genovar. She married her sweetheart, Danny Miles Mullis. She and Danny shared 54 years together and raised two children, Adam and Beth. Ginny loved to sew. She worked as the manager of the Accounting Department at Southeastern Minerals, Inc. for many years. She loved to go shopping and go to the beach. When she was healthy, she loved to pick up grandchildren from school and enjoyed time spent with them. Her grandchildren were her heart. Ginny was a great wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Ginny Mullis is survived by her spouse, Danny Mullis; children, Adam Mullis (Deidra) and Beth Williams (Jeff); grandchildren, Connor Mullis, Holt Mullis, Jackson Crew, Ellie Williams, and Gage Williams; and sisters-in-law, Wendy Genovar and Betty Genovar. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Edward and Harry Genovar, and sister, Florence Reyes.

So very sorry to hear of Ginny’s passing. I worked with her for a short time at Southeastern Minerals. She was always a joy to work with. I pray that God gives all the family, and friends.
