Mary Lou Vidal Lewis, age 85, of Donalsonville, Georgia, passed away at her home on September 25, 2024.
Services for Mrs. Lewis will be held on Friday, September 27, at 11:00 a.m., at Cox-Ivey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Brownsville, Texas, and was the daughter of Francis Xavier and Henrietta Cavzos Vidal. She married Billy Wade Lewis, who predeceased her in 2019, and the two of them shared a life together for over 60 years. Mary Lou was a devoted member of the Incarnation Catholic Church in Donalsonville.
Mary Lou Vidal Lewis is survived by her children, Kevin Lewis (Cindy) and Shawn Whittaker (Greg) of Donalsonville, Gina Conoly (Lee) of Iron City, and Michelle Berry of North Augusta, South Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren Blake Pitts, Bryce Pitts (Brittany), Melissa Berry, Michael Berry (Christi), Camille Mulloy (Josh), Charity Young (Brandon), Mary Jo Dickson (Ricky), and Zane Whittaker (fiance, Meagan Weese); her 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Frances Ramirez (Armando) of Miami, Florida, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lewis was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Henrietta Pena.
