Joseph A. “Joe” Buckhalter, 72, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024.

Joseph Alfred Buckhalter was born August 22, 1951, in Donalsonville, GA, the son of Earl & Annice Turnage Buckhalter. After high school, Joe decided to hit the road in a semi. Truck driving offered Joe the opportunity to meet new people and see new places. He found, as a Christian, he could enjoy God’s handiwork everywhere he looked. Joe loved the outdoors, fished occasionally, and tinkered on most anything.
Survivors include his daughters, Joy Jordan (Richard) of Cairo and Lisa Severe (Ryan) of Webster City, IA; his grandchildren, Breanna, Allie, and Colton; and his brother, Weyman Buckhalter (Theresa) of Donalsonville. Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
