Marie Horton Andrews, age 103, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham, Georgia.
Services for Mrs. Andrews will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, 10:00 am, at Andrews Family Cemetery, Grady County, Georgia.
Marie Horton was born December 20, 1921, in Grady County, Georgia, to Everett H. Horton and Edna James Horton. She was a lifetime resident of Grady County. Marie was a strong-willed lady who loved her family deeply. She and her husband, Thomas Eugene Andrews, had four children. Marie loved to work in her yard, and it was always full of beautiful flowers. She was a great cook and loved to share her talent with family and friends. Marie lived a long, full life and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Marie Horton Andrews is survived by her son, Jackie Andrews; grandchildren, Kevin Andrews, Mike Andrews, Lance Andrews, Amy Piscitelli, and Scott Andrews; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett H. Horton and Edna James Horton; husbands, Thomas Eugene Andrews and Otho Sadler; children, Roger Andrews, Emmett Andrews, and Tommy Andrews; siblings, Evelyn Horton McQuien, Ruby Mae, Holley, and James Horton; and granddaughter, Michelle Andrews.
