Douglass L. Jacobson, 84, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Douglass Lawrence Jacobson was born January 9, 1941, in Knoxville, TN, the son of George & Elizabeth Hunter Jacobson. After high school graduation, Douglass earned an associate degree in physics and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army as an Army Aviator in Vietnam. He married Judith Nickle in 1973. Douglass & Judith lived many years in the Atlanta area prior to moving to Bainbridge. He was a Christian by faith.
Everything about the outdoors was perfect for Douglass. Working as a tree surgeon was a natural fit for him to be in his element daily. Douglass valued his customers and treated them as friends. His work sometimes led him to the best locales for hunting and fishing. Douglass was a patriot at heart and considered serving his country an honor and privilege.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Judith A. Jacobson; his daughter, Colleen Bradshaw of Noble, OK; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Marshall Jacobson (Sue) and Ellen Perez (Mike). Douglass was preceded in death by his parents.
